La Puerta Azul - Stunning Desert Retreat Pool & Spa

Super family gathering in a peaceful, beautiful location Positive: This location was perfect for us, halfway between the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and the amazing cultural attractions and fantastic restaurants and shops in downtown Tucson. The setting is spectacular, landscaping beautiful, and the pool and spa sparkling clean and inviting. Extra bonus, a telescope to view the night sky. Gorgeous saguaros, mesquite trees, cholla and ocotillo cactus surrounds the property. Nighttime sounds of owls and coyote made it perfect. The decor in the house is eclectic with lots of local artifacts and art. A welcome basket of goodies was provided, though we did not take advantage of it. Communication with the property owner and manager was the best we've ever had in all previous rentals. They were swift to answer questions and provided us with great tips for places to eat. Negative: There were a few things that needed repair, but those things didn't mar our wonderful experience. The road leading to the property, as we were warned, was rough. They recommend 10 mph and we would say that is the max speed, especially going through the wash.

Positive: The property was absolutely gorgeous, a true relaxing paradise!

I can't put into words how thrilled we were to stay at La Puerta Azul! My kids appreciated the privacy, and I loved the spacious kitchen, the beautiful weather, and the natural surroundings. There were so many gorgeous views perfect for photos. As a blogger, I recorded plenty of videos for my content. The house had everything we could possibly need, and the sound system by the pool was a highlight—we enjoyed music all day long! Cant wait for the next vacation

The resort is so amazing this home is by far one of the best venues I’ve ever been at well manicured well taken care of just an amazing amazing place. I recommend that to anyone and will go at least once a year to dislocation thank you very much.
